On Monday The Zozo spotted a job ad that not only matched a large number of my skills but that also looked like it could be quite fun.
Tuesday I had spoken to the agent, found more about the job and sorted a date for the interview.
Thursday I had the interview.
Friday I had the job. I start in a week or so. Funny how things turn out.
So is this the conclusion to the “I’m going to try to make money forex trading, doing a bit of photography, and if that doesn’t work out, I’ll get a job locally?”
Sounds like a good thing though, regardless
Well plan A, the Forex thing, didn’t work (blog post about that coming when I get half a mo), plan B, the photography thing, I’m half way through starting up, but this job was just too good to turn down. The place seems good, the people seem good and the money is in the region I was expecting. The photography has been downgraded to a paying hobby and may still get promoted to main job in a few years. Depends how good I get at it.
